last painted to match his 1963 Z06 Stingray he ran in the '63 LA Times 3hr Enduro at Riverside 10/14/62. It was the historic
first ever meeting between America's most iconis sports cars - the Chevrolet Corvette and Ford Cobra. This was the last time
Dave wore his Corvette helmet as he was hired by Carroll Shelby to run Cobras and he wore his famous golden snake helmet.
