Dodger Stadium March 2-3, 1963 - Shelby American debuts the new 289ci engine stuffed into the already brutally fast Cobra Roadster.
Dave MacDonald in Cobra CSX2026 and Ken Miles in CSX2002 would compete in the first ever road races at Dodger Stadium.

Lap 2 and it's still Guldstrand and Bondurant running 1-2 but MacDonald has stormed past Reinhart & Bucknum and into 3rd as the leaders
